We woke up in the US, and ended our day in Canada!
We left our motel and headed into Seattle for a quick lookie loo around. We will be back before our cruise for two days, so we just wanted a quick check to figure out the lay of the land downtown, and plan our visit later this month.

The downtown core was full of great sights, and we look forward to coming back in two weeks to explore more.

After we left the city, we and many others stopped for a quick break at the first rest stop. There was one of the Massive Redwood “drive through” stumps

We then headed to Bellingham for lunch. We found a lovely little park, on the Bay. Boulevard park. There were children playing and couples snuggling. It was not warm, but the views were lovely.

Off to Costco again, for one last top up before heading back to the land of transportation taxes!

As we got close to the border crossing, we were pleased to see the Canadian flag!

We stopped at the duty free to get some gifts for family… found some other amusing things!

We found our BnB, visited with the Durrett family and then had a pleasant home cooked meal at our AirBnB with Penny
