We reluctantly left our cozy BnB and headed down island.
Of course, it would be the rainiest day of our trip. We have always been blessed with bad weather when we drive the Malahat!

Thankfully, the drive was fairly smooth, with only one small slowdown for traffic,
We arrived in the greater Victoria area just in time for a Friday, Fish and Chip pub lunch. The Six Mile Pub is a gluten free kitchen!

A nice afternoon was spent enjoying the vintage atmosphere, and sipping our drafts.

We slowly made our way over to Blue Haze Farm, and stopped on the Esquimault Lagoon, and I painted the misty Olympic Mountain range in the distance.

A wonderful evening with our friends, at the local grocery store pub, (yes, who knew?)
