Did someone say Palms?

There is something magical about Palm trees… well if you live in Canada there is.

On our first full day in Cairns, we headed on a wee wander… basically to get supplies.

We awoke in our RV a little stiff, as we had not figured out the whole “table to bed” situation… but as we had eaten very well the night before at Dunwoody’s we skipped breakfast and hit the road.

Loved the sign… too bad if was for the Casino part of the hotel.

Ok… drinks, then dinner at Dunwoody’s then a stop at Liquorland for “basics” and the Shell station for mix and ice.

Ok, we woke up a bit sore from the night before…nothing to do with the bed 🍸🥃🍷😱

We had some issues on launch, so spent an hour at the RV rental place as they repaired some cut wires (pre-existing condition… we did not do it)… and did more shopping at the “give away” and got a bed topper!!! And some other supplies, then headed north!
