Falling….

In love with Tasmania.

Rick and I are definitely falling in love with Tasmania. The smaller population, the friendly people, the spectacular views and did we mention the temperature?

It’s a close second to Newfoundland.

I stayed home this morning with a wee tummy ache, while Rick headed into Swansea for Church. The church built by… a possible ancestor .. Joseph Mayson.

He’s from the right area..
Sweet church
In memory of Joseph’s Bride

After church, he did stop at the Horny Cray… why wouldn’t you? Fish and chips!!!

We then headed out for our wander for the day. The Tourville lighthouse.

Spectacular (but scary) views. I have a slight fear of heights. And the path was on the edge of a cliff!

I stayed on the inside
Beautiful views, wineglass bay is the white sand in the background

Mini of the day!
The true view
We were on this boat yesterday! Lemon Rock, if you look closely, at the mini you will see I painted it in.

After the lighthouse ramble, we headed back to our campground cabin, and had a wee rest.

Just before dinner, I headed down to Oyster Bay. And dipped my toes into the Tasman sea

Dip dip
The wind was crazy… those Marine wind warnings
