Big beautiful beach

We left our wonderful little train car, and headed back to the coast, to Bunbury.

First we had to say goodbye to our Emu Friends

The dogs came to say bye too.

Then we headed to our one stop for the day; the Green Pools and Elephant rocks.

Wow. Lovely place, and everyone from the town of Denmark goes there too. Swimming lessons were in full swing, and the beach was crowded.

I managed a wee swim… the Antarctica is not that far away… it was like swimming at home in early June 🥶

Busy beach…
Bit of a climb down.

We then wandered to the other end of beach, where there were less people

Impressive views, as always
No swimming here.. rip tides

We then continued the drive to Bunbury.. cross country.. boring AF.

We passed through the Valley of the Giants, the Eucalyptus trees were very large, but nothing like the Giant Cedars on our west coast, but still impressive

The Valley of the Giants… not the largest tree we saw

We then got to our hotel, had a quick swim, then headed out to wander the lovely harbour.

Our hotel, converted Silos
The view from the hotel “lawn”
The Marina

Western Australia has some wonderful beaches all along the southern coast. We saw many, but took few pictures, just enjoyed them in our minds eye.
