Our Wicked Walkabout

We do that a lot!

We decided we are over major cities. And the weather was predicting 35+ temps, so city vs ocean… ocean won.

We headed out towards Cape Jervis, where you can catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island (KI to locals 🙄)

The ferry is 125$ one way, walk on for a 45 minute ride, for the two of us… so we did not do that.. also we heard a rumour that seeing a kangaroo is not 100% guaranteed! (Right Phyllis? )

It was a pleasant drive

We stopped at the lookout, and marvelled that the views, and the modern Light house

We then drove along to the other side of the Cape, to Victor Harbor. The views were lovely, few pictures were taken, we just enjoyed the views. Rolling hills, and cows and farms.

We found a quiet spot of lunch, the winds off the ocean were chilling, and although the air was 36, I had to wrap myself up in my beach towel to stay warm!

We then made our way back to our Air bnb for a nap and some more laundry.
