Down to the finals

Today we relocated from Yarram to our last location for Phase 3. Phillip Island. Home of the penguin parade!

We left our Bnb And headed to the Wilson’s Promontory… or the Prom, as locals say! Aussies are not known for long winded descriptions…

Our goal, Squeaky beach! apparently a world renowned beach!

The weather was supposed to be rainy… so we did not get our swim suits out… we should know by now, the weather forecast is merely a suggestion!

But made for lovely misty mountains.
The drive was full of stunning views!
We arrived! The usual warnings
The trek in was not so long
First peek
The first view!
The sand was squeaky!

The rock formations were very cool, people were setting up between them. We found a good spot and had lunch

Our neighbours were building a fort!
Cool rocks… painting? Maybe!

We then continued back out of the prom… we stopped at a lookout, to look back at where we were

Great views!

We then drove to Phillip island. And settled into our little Cabin, where we will hang for the next 3 days… until we catch our flight to New Zealand, and start phase 4!

Bat duck approved!
