We spent the weekend in the area known as Amuri. It includes a number of villages, and hosted the A&P show (agriculture and pastoral)
We went to the Hanmer Springs, a thermal hot spring on Friday.
We actually did not take many pictures: as we were too busy soaking!
It was a lovely relaxing day, enjoying the therapeutic waters.

The next day we headed to the Show, where the whole community was gathered! great opportunity to experience true New Zealand rural living.

It was a wonderful day, and we all returned back to the house tired and happy… a charcuterie and wine was called for!
