Tree Casa

Day three was the first day of rehearsal for the choir members so the rest of us had a free morning.

Choir rehearsal

I stayed behind at the hotel and finished the painting I had started the day before. But decided after a bit, that I was over it!

My attempt at capturing our hotel

So off I went to find a place to sketch, and found a delightful spot just across from the church, so I was able to sketch and listen to the choir. A lovely spot.

I then went for a wander to scope out my next sketch.

So much potential

The choir finished practice at noon, many went off to find a quick lunch, before our afternoon excursion. We opted for siesta instead. 💤😴

At 1:30(ish) we stuffed ourselves into the bus and headed to Tree Casa. A luxury resort about 30 minute drive from San Juan.

It did not disappoint. We ordered lovely appies, took a dip in the pool and several drinks! The evening ended with a 5 start meal. A wonderful day.
