Sometimes you just need to go with the tide.

Yesterday we did a relocation… from Brisbane to Nambucca Heads.

Christmas is everywhere.. it’s weird, when it looks like Christmas at home….

Christmas at the trailer park, in Brisbane.

Vs. Home…

This is Christmas like (thanks Susan)

We did try to head into Gold Coast, with it’s communities called “Miami”, “surfers paradise”, “mermaid waters”, “palm Beach”, but it was not meant to be… the traffic was awful, and we don’t like big city driving

Gold Coast, Downtown.

So we headed back to the M1, after a brief stop at the mall…

Where Christmas Jumpers were on sale at Kmart!

We headed south, and returned to New South Wales.

Back in NSW!

We arrived at our park just after check-in, but the Lovely Jo, was still around and helped us get settled.

Lovely location

View from our camp ground (over the dune)
The other way.

We headed to the pool, and relaxed and got ready for the next day!

This morning, we headed into town. Wow… lovely location. I am going to give Nambucca Heads a 5 star! Love, love, love everything about this place.

The rocks along the shore are decorated.

So many fish!

Then we spent the morning on the beach, watching the tide roll in…

The beach

I swam to the sand bar… against the tide

Me on the sand bar, the dark water is deep and moves!
My close up…

Unfortunately, Rick stepped on a sharp rock and hurt his foot. Thankfully we had a Canadian Red Cross Ouch pouch! (and some Polysporin)

The boo boo
It’s good to be prepared!

When the tides turned, we left the beach and took a wee wander and ended up on Captain Cook’s Lookout

To the south
To the north, and our park
To the east

We then headed back for it was a good day.

Ok, We did a bit of shopping at that mall! Lmao. Gotta get in the spirit!
Mini for the day!
