We travelled from Nundle and back to the big city of Sydney, well the suburbs anyway.
Crossing from the great Dividing Range over to the Blue Mountains.

As we left the plains, we again travelled the winding roads, coming to the Grey Gum Cafe. A resting place, and concert venue for the many motor-bikers who travel the winding road. Unfortunately it was closed. But that meant the Roo’s were in the house!!!

We arrived in Emu Plains, and camped for the night.
The next morning we headed out on our Blue Mountain adventure.
We drove up to Katoomba, and the Three Sisters.
Pictures can’t do it justice. The vistas were spectacular.

Then we took a wee drive around Cliff Drive.
Our first stop was at Katoomba Falls. A tour was also there, and were feeding the Cockatoos. I walked down to falls (many stairs) and Rick enjoyed watching the birds

We continued around the drive, enjoying the views, then headed out to find a pub for lunch.
Success!
The Henry, at the Blue Mountain Inn. The special today was Steak! Twist my rubber arm! We both had the special. It was delicious! The Henry was also filled with delightful stain glass… and you know us, we love stain glass!

Behind was a lovely little church, I am sure we just gravitate to them now.

We then headed back to the camp ground for our usual routine: Nap, pool and drinkies and social media catch up.
Another bucket list item ✅ Blue Mountains.
